Description Adenosine monophosphate deaminase 1 catalyzes the deamination of AMP to IMP in skeletal muscle and plays an important role in the purine nucleotide cycle. Two other genes have been identified, AMPD2 and AMPD3, for the liver- and erythocyte-specific isoforms, respectively. Deficiency of the muscle-specific enzyme is apparently a common cause of exercise-induced myopathy and probably the most common cause of metabolic myopathy in the human.Immunogen: AMPD1 antibody was raised against a portion of amino acids 500-550 of AMPD1. (Human)Application: AMPD1 antibody can be used for detection of AMPD1 by WB (0.5 - 2 µg/ml), IHC-parafin (5 - 10 µg/ml).Buffer: AMPD1 antibody is supplied in PBS, 0.2% gelatin, 0.05% sodium azide.Storage: AMPD1 antibody can be stored at 4ºC for short term storage, for long term storage aliquot and store at -20ºC . Avoid freeze thaw cycles.
