Description Gria2/Glurb is one of four subunits of the glutamate receptor that is sensitive to alpha-amino-3-hydroxy-5-methyl-4-isoxazolpropionate (AMPA). Glutamate receptors are ligand-activated cation channels that mediate the fast component of excitatory postsynaptic currents in neurons of the central nervous system. These channels are assembled from 4 related subunits, with the Gria2/Glurb subunit rendering the channel almost impermeable to Ca(2+).Specificity: pSer880Immunogen: GRIA2 antibody was raised against amino acids surrounding Ser 880 of GRIA2. (Human)Application: GRIA2 antibody can be used for detection of GRIA2 by WB (1:500 - 1:1000), IHC-parafin (10 µg/ml).Buffer: GRIA2 antibody is supplied in PBS (without Mg2+, Ca2+), pH 7.4, 150 mM sodium chloride, 0.02% sodium azide, 50% glycerol.Storage: GRIA2 antibody can be stored at -70ºC for long term storage, and -20ºC for short term storage.
