Description Recombinant adenovirus provides excellent transduction efficiency (>90%) of gene-of-interest into many types of mammalian cells. Adenoviral vector currently is used for a variety of purposes, including gene transfer in vitro, vaccination production, and gene therapy. One of the most time-consuming steps in the generation of recombinant adenovirus is the construction of recombinant plasmids. Our premade recombinant adenoviruses contain high titer adenoviruses and are ready to use. Adaptor protein, phosphotyrosine interaction, PH domain and leucine zipper containing 1 (APPL1) and APPL2 are protein effectors of the small guanosine triphosphatase RAB5 that interact with a number of receptors (TrkA, FSH receptor, adiponectin receptor) and signaling proteins (Akt and GSK3) and are involved in endosome-mediated signaling. It is proposed that APPL proteins are dynamic scaffolds that modulate RAB5-associated signaling endosomal membranes by domain-mediated oligomerization, membrane targeting and phosphoinositide binding (1). APPL1 recombinant adenovirus expresses flag-tagged mouse APPL1 protein.
