Description Strep-Tactin Superflow high capacity cartridge H-PR for one-step purification of recombinant Strep-tag proteins with HPLC or FPLC. The Strep-tag® / Strep-Tactin® purification system allows the isolation of above 95% pure and functional proteins after one chromatographical step. The Strep-tag system is based on the highly selective and easily contollable interaction between the Strep-tag II peptide and the specially engineered streptavidin called Strep-Tactin. The binding affinity of Strep-tag II to Strep-Tactin is nearly 100 times higher than to Streptavidin. Strep-Tactin Superflow high capacity combines superior mechanical stability and outstanding flow characteristics with high dynamic binding capacity. It is suitable for increased flow rates and is also useful for the purification of large protein complexes.The H-PR cartridges are primarily designed for use with chromatography workstations with 10-32 connections (please note that you do not need adapters for HPLC and -kta). They can, however, also be operated with other workstations, with syringes or with peristaltic pumps by use of common adapters for H-PR cartridges. Since column bodies are highly pressure resistant ("H-PR") and can tolerate 20 bar, the H-PR cartridges can be used with a flow restrictor. Cartridges can be connected in series to enlarge capacity.Binding capacity: 150 to 500 nmol recombinant Strep-tag protein (3 to 15 mg in case of a recombinant 20 kDa Strep-tag fusion protein) per 1 ml bed volume.
