Description Mouse anti FGR (Sku 433170) detects human FGR, which is member of the Src family of protein tyrosine kinases (PTKs). It is validated in western blot application, and other then confirmed reactivity against human FGR, reactivity against rhesus monkey and equus is also expected based on sequence homology. FGR is a member of the Src tyrosine kinase family. The protein is predominantly expressed in cells of hematopoietic origin including differentiated myeloid cells, NK and B cells. Difference between c-src and FGR expression is that while c-src is present in all stages of myeloid cell development, FGR expression was only observed in the later stages of development. FGR plays a role in Bcr, FcR and integrin signaling from the plasma membrane. For example, FGR was found to regulate outside-in integrin signaling-dependent sustained adhesion of neutrophils.
